WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?

I like to call my style of photography Editorial Photojournalism. I aim to capture your wedding day as naturally as possible, trying not to interfere with what is really going on so I can create images based on what really happened. But, this is a wedding, and one of those rare instances where all of your family & friends are gathering to celebrate you, so I wrap in some easy going beautiful portraits for you as well. Most important for me is to show the emotion of the day, and who you are as a couple. Of course a few pretty pictures of flowers & rings will get into the mix, but in all honestly, I'm a ninja, mostly staying out of your way and capturing the reality and beauty of the whole day.

This also translates in my processing style. I want your images to stand up to the test of time, so I keep my processing and retouching light and natural.



WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU?

I'm hoping it's because you like me and my work! I've been photographing weddings in Los Angeles for over 15 years with over 500 weddings under my belt. I've dealt with and seen it all. No joke. With the background and experience I have, I can handle any situation without problem. I literally have shot weddings with fires going on in the background, managed to sooth angry divorced parents who haven't spoken to each other in years, all while capturing adorable little flower girls trying on high heels. I take my job of capturing your day very seriously, and do everything in my power to create beautiful, warm, emotional images that will make you smile for years. I have also been told by many clients, that I'm able to put them at ease in front of the camera. I'm quite proud of that.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES AND HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

I tend to customize my packages for each client, as I find everyone has different needs and wants. Some people want me to fly to another continent while covering multiple days or events, albums for themselves and parents, and wall pieces. Others just want me to stay local and document the day and deliver the digital files. I'm happy to make you your own custom package to meet your exact needs. What I always include is, myself as photographer, a curated set of digital files (approximately 75 per hour of coverage) and your own password protected gallery to share with friends and family. Fees start at $3500, but let's chat about your specific day and figure out what works best for you.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?

I moved from Los Angeles and now live in Portland Oregon and happy to travel anywhere in the world. I do not charge anything extra for any location within 90 minutes of the city. If travel is involved, we can discuss details and I can provide you with a custom quote.



WHAT IF WE WANT EXTRA PRINTS, ALBUMS AND FRAMING?

I am happy to take care of any final product you'd like, and most items are available for order through your private online gallery. I work with the best professional printers and album binders, and can create gallery canvas wraps, metal prints, or any other type of wall pieces you want and need. Any product you order with me, I will take extra care and work to make sure every image file is perfect for printing. You are also able to take the digital files I provide in my packages and get anything you want printed wherever you like if you'd prefer.

CAN WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A SHOT LIST?

I will work with you a few weeks before the wedding to go over who will be involved with the family portraits, and create a shot list of those. If there are VIP's I should know about, or a special unique item and event planned that I should know about, absolutely let me know. For the day as a whole, and to capture images like I show here on my site, I ask that you trust me to capture your day and not have me check off a list of "must have images". "Why is that?" you might be asking. I approach each wedding day as a unique entity and have my eyes & ears open to capture moments as they are unfolding naturally. If I have a list I had to carry around and check off, I'd be more focused on that and miss a lot of special things actually happening. I'm of course going to get you walking down the aisle, the kiss, the cake cutting. If you like what I'm showing you here on this site, trust that I will capture the uniqueness of your day and get your special moments that will mean a lot more than anything anyone can come up with an a standard shot list.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Absolutely. If your venue needs a copy of my insurance, please let me know at least a month ahead, so my insurance company has time to get all the correct paperwork in order.



WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?

You should book me as soon as you decide you'd like me to shoot your wedding. I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, and book on a first come first served bases. I've booked weddings 2 years in advance, and as little as 2 weeks before the wedding date. Let's chat and make sure I'm available and get your date booked as soon as you're ready.

ARE YOU INCLUSIVE?

Absolutely. I believe love is love. No matter your race, religion or gender. I’m here to support and celebrate you! I have photographed many variations of love in my career including LGBTQAI+, combinded races and mixed religions. I’ve captured all sorts of celebrations including Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Persian, same-sex, just to name a few.
