I’M NOT AN ACTOR, WHY DO I NEED HEADSHOTS?

Not only actors need headshots. Are you an entrepreneur? Maybe a lawyer, doctor or dentist? Real Estate agent? Restaurant owner? Musician? Did you just write a book and need a shot for the inside of your book sleeve? Just about anyone can benefit from having a great and current headshot.


HOW ARE HEADSHOTS DIFFERENT FROM PORTRAITS?

Portraits can tend to be a little more intimate, artistic and can vary in how much of your body is showing. Headshots tend to be a more straightforward close shot of your head & shoulders and used professionally. If you're looking for more of a variety of images to show off your business and personality, you might want to do a Branding Shoot. You can find more about that on my Branding FAQ page.

Think clean and minimal, not busy patterns that can detract from your face.


WHERE WILL WE DO THE PHOTO SESSION?

We can shoot just about anywhere. Whether you want a studio look, or you want something more natural in the background, let’s discuss locations that fit your needs.


DO I NEED MY HAIR AND MAKE-UP DONE?

Absolutely. You’ll probably be using these professionally, do what you need to do to look your best and feel confident to have people see the image. Even men can benefit from a little grooming. I’m happy to refer great hair & make-up people for you.


WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR HEADSHOT PACKAGE(S)?

Happy to create a package for your exact needs. But we start with the session, and your choice of one image retouched. You can always add on as many additional retouched images as you like.


WHAT’S THIS GOING TO COST ME?

Individual headshots

For $350, my headshot photography session includes:

  • pre-shoot meeting over zoom
  • up to 45 minutes of shooting on the day of the session with one location and look
  • an online gallery of proximately 30 images
  • 1 image of your choice I will retouch, provided in low-resolution (perfect for online use) and hi-resolution (perfect for print use).
  • Need more than one look and/or location? Add $100
  • Want to travel to Cannon Beach or Mt Hood areas (or relative distance from Portland)? Add $250
  • Want me to travel anywhere else? I’ll custom quote you based on destination
  • Need more than one retouched file? Add $125 per additional retouched image.


Corporate headshots

If you have an office, or multiple people you need photographs of, I have group pricing, which includes:

  • $350 for the first person, $75 for each additional person
  • A quick and easy environment to get people photographed and back to work, without disturbing their day, I'll have them in and out within 5 minutes
  • 5-10 photos of each person to choose from
  • 1 image of your choice I will retouch, provided in low-resolution (perfect for online use) and hi-resolution (perfect for print use).
  • Travel and set up at your location within the greater Portland area
